We run Linux on 2 severs in the division and 17 Microsoft servers. We have had ZERO Linux issues in the past 48 months or more that I can think of. Not to mention, even if we did have something on an RDA server we'd call you. Linux/Unix stuff just works. Honestly, they run as securely and reliably as any other - and probably better than a Microsoft server honestly.

File Archive Storage Tool (F.A.S.T.)With F.A.S.T., keep old reports and documents that would normally be housed in several filing cabinets in one easy-to-search database. The F.A.S.T. software contains tools for scanning, indexing, storing, retrieving and managing valuable reports, such as W2s, Leave reports and fixed asset reports and documents, like driver’s licenses, invoices and bank statement. Easily search and retrieve information from individual workstations. And password protection restricts access to authorized users, safeguarding valuable and sensitive information. F.A.S.T. gets you back to using data instead of managing it, by reducing the need for indexing and filing, lowering storage costs, centralizing information and eliminating document loss. |
